The Westside and Motorola Style Showdown hosted its preliminary round at Basketball Stadium, Railway Nilayam in which 25 colleges competed showcasing their skills in choreography and styling. St. Mary's Degree College, CSIIT, NIFT, Frankfin, Secunderabad, ARK Institute, ICFAI, St. Francis Xavier's and Frankfin Hyderabad are the eight finalists from the city. Winning team bags cash prize of Rs.50, 000 and Motorola W 220 mobile phones.
