As per a recent survey by FHRAI, New Delhi, foreign tourists to India grew by 23.5% to a figure of 3.37 million in 2004. With this kind of growth & India's strong domestic tourism market touching 300 million tourist trips in 2004, India is already witnessing high growth in the international and domestic tourism industry, which will last for few decades in future.

In Hyderabad also there is an increase in tourists & with that more Hotels are on the rise & existing Hotels are expanding. ITC Fortune Park Katriya is adding another 100 rooms, Green Park has plans to expand with 100-150 rooms & Viceroy will be ready with another 100 rooms by this year end. In addition to these, The Oberoi group is looking for a place to build their Hotel. Le Meridien has taken over the Ritz hotel that will be renovated & ready by the end of 2006. International chain properties like Radisson plans to have a tie up with Manohar & Viceroy is likely to have a tie up with Marriot.
